Name | Sandpaw
Gender | She-cat
Age | 8 moons
Rank | Apprentice
Clan | MeadowClan
Beliefs |
As well as Sandpaw understands about other Clan's beliefs, she doesn't want to bother herself with real beliefs or get herself caught up in anything. While she doesn't want to say that she doesn't 100% believe anything, she feels as though StarClan can exist. She is old enough that she knows all cats die, and questions where they end up. Do they just disappear, or do they remain somewhere unseen? However much she thinks about this, she doesn't think too long, hard, or often.

Appearance |
Sandpaw is a sleek cat with soft, light-colored fur. Her fur is covered in light gold stripes that cover her body, more prominent on her legs and tail than her belly and back. Between the stripes is a much lighter gold, almost white. Her tail, a few inches longer than the usual, is a darker shade of the same gold color of her stripes, and is all the one color other than the tipped being lightly dipped white. It, too, has stripes a slightly darker shade than her tail. She has a pink nose, and bright, icy blue eyes.
Personality |
Sandpaw is a somewhat friendly cat. She likes making friends with cats and ones her own age mostly, and makes herself comfortable in almost any situation. Most of all though, she likes being friends with anyone who she isn't an enemy of. She'd rather be on one side or the other with cats, rather than in between.
Sandpaw is very good at holding grudges. If someone stabs her in the back, don't expect to be forgiven very soon. Her attitude also drastically changes toward them. She could be nice and flirty with them one day, then, if they do something wrong to her, she'll be like a badger to and around them. Most times this is how she acts instead of getting sad and crying or anything like that. And she has no problem with holding grudges.
This cat likes to flirt. Although she doesn't admit it, she does. If almost anyone makes her feel 'special' in any way, likely she'll blush. She won't try to flirt with just anyone though: any of her enemies are a definite no, as well as anyone too much older than herself. She likes to feel liked by her Clanmates, so while she won't flirt with everyone, she does like the company of friends.
If there's something new to be done, Sandpaw will do it, even if that means swimming. She doesn't much care about what happens to her - unless it will undoubtedly lead to her own death or certain injury. She wants to experience as many things as she can. In a way, you could call her a daredevil.
Sandpaw is on the divide against Cedarstar. Even though she is basically in between the divide - being part ForestClan cat and part MeadowClan cat, she believes it is wrong that he favors any of the cats - none are any better than the others. All are a part of MeadowClan, and none are any different than the other. But Cedarstar certainly thinks differently - it's obvious in his actions.
Skills |
Sandpaw has an uncanny ability for climbing and jumping. For the most part, this can be used for climbing tall trees and catching prey. However, it also helps her with holding onto an opponent in battle with her claws, as she does to trees.
Being a MeadowClan cat, her body has also become adapted well for running and making sharp turns for catching those fast prey on the ground. Her body is lean, yet muscular underneath. She is better with swifter attacks, being able to strike at an opponent faster, then backing off before they can counter attack.
History |
Sandpaw was born just before the time that the Clans would be formed and split apart. Her father was one of the few that made the trip from ForestClan to their new home with Cedarstar. Her mother was one of the many recruited into the Clan, then stayed with her father when the split happened, thus making Sandpaw a MeadowClan cat as well. She remembers many cats all around, then they all left one day. It felt lonely, and she learned to like the difference in sizes of the Clan - now she could actually move around in the camp.
When all the cats left, she was a little afraid at first - all the cats she had become friends with were leaving. She didn't know if she would have to learn to hate them from then on or what. One thing was certain - things would never be the same. Her parents helped to calm her, saying that not all the cats would become her enemy. Some may though, unfortunately, but everything would be all right in the end.
Her life was decently easy. Her parents raised her well, teaching her what they could before she would become old enough for apprenticeship. A month before she would be named an apprentice, her father was killed by a fox during a hunt. She was devastated, slightly losing her mind for a few months. Her mother specifically asked Cedarstar to wait to name her for this reason.
During those weeks after her father died, Sandpaw barely ate or slept, and hardly ever responded when spoken to. Her mother kept talking to her though, explaining that these things happened. She was in the same boat, but she knew that she had to remain strong for her daughter's sake. Eventually, her mother coaxed Sandpaw out of this daze, and brought her back to reality when she was 7 moons old. Her mother got Sandpaw to a stable point, and watched her for a few more weeks. She had fully come out of her hole finally. After those few weeks were up, Sandpaw was acting like a normal cat again, and she was named an apprentice at 8 moons old.
