dappledkit --> dappledpaw
gender. She-cat age. Ten moons rank . Apprentice clan. FogClan
beliefs. Dappledpaw believes because there was never another option. She was brought up in FogClan with a mother who put all of her faith in StarClan. To not believe would have meant ostracism, especially when it came to her mother. So from a very young age, Dappledpaw learnt that to devote your life to StarClan was the only possible salvation. If you didn’t, well then nothing waited for you after death. But to begin, she never really took her mother’s message to heart. She understood that she needed to work for StarClan, but there was nothing driving her towards it. And so like any other kit faced with something they have no interest in, she decided it didn’t matter
Everything changed when her mother died. Dappledpaw’s faith took a dramatic turn. Suddenly StarClan was the only way she was going to see Tawnyclaw, and she had to see her mother again. But now she is stumbling as to how. These concepts of salvation and sin are foreign to her, as a kit she never listened to her mother’s preachings, and now she is lost. She wants so badly to do right in StarClan’s eyes, so she has turned to the extreme views of her Clan.

appearance. Dappledpaw leans towards the smaller side of the scale when it comes to her appearance. She is not thin, just short and her body has gracefully adjusted to that fact. Her shoulders are narrow in comparison to any other cat, but on Dappledpaw they look almost broad. Her medium sized tail almost comes off as too long, as if that much weight would throw her off balance. And her legs, they’re short yes, but they are not thin as expected. Her limbs seem almost thick on her body. But her face, her face is narrow. Her yellow eyes are also narrow, but they are more forgiving then her face. There is little softness when it comes to her face, and it gives her a look of determination. short, medium build, yellow eyes
Dappledpaw’s coat stays at a consistent medium length throughout, but it hardly ever stays consistently clean. As the majority of her pelt is white, it is easy to see how little Dappledpaw does to keep herself presentable. She never had to worry while her mother was around, but now there are large dirt marks rubbed into her calico fur. It is a shame, because her pelt is beautiful. Splotches of light ginger dot her back, legs and face. Settled in between are splashes of black. Her fluffy tail is almost entirely a light black, with is mirrored by her toes. Her forehead shares that black as well. When it was kept, Dappledpaw’s pelt was not something easily forgot. medium fur, dirty, calico
personality. Dappledpaw learnt to trust with all of herself at a very young age. Her mother left her little chance to see the horrors of the world, and as a result Dappledpaw has a bad habit of only seeing the best in others. This tends to make her gullible, and, even worse, malleable. She is constantly being affected and changed by the cats around her. And it is not always for the better. It can be so very easy to take advantage of Dappledpaw, or to led her down the wrong path. She would easily follow anyone blindly, so long as they didn’t leave her side. Dappledpaw does not know how to function alone and she has become extremely dependent on others after her mother’s death. It is most noticeable with older she-cats, but, given the opportunity, she will attach herself to anyone. But she is also very eager to please. She has a deep, and driving, desire to do good that becomes especially clear with regard to her faith. dependent, malleable, trusting, eager to please
Dappledpaw is not a very loud or out-spoken cat. She does not enjoy spending larger periods of time amongst even larger groups, and for this reason finds gatherings painful to stomach. Dappledpaw is simply soft-spoken. Granted that does not mean she does not speak. She just does so quietly and generally with a lot of thought behind each word. And their is something eternally childlike about Dappledpaw, and, because of this, she seems incredibly innocent. She is youthfully, naive about her life and the life of others. Yet this quiet and innocent face shields an obsessive mind. Dappledpaw finds it near impossible to let go of something once she has latched onto it. She longs for her obsession, and it makes her incredibly driven towards certain aspects of her world. obsessive, innocent, quiet
And there is something about Dappledpaw’s innocence and quiet demeanor that makes her next to unnoticeable. She can be entirely forgettable, and it makes it easy for her to overhear things that she probably shouldn’t. It also makes her easily overlooked. There are few who believe that Dappledpaw has any real sway when first meeting her, and their are many opportunities for Dappledpaw to use this to her advantage. But that same skill is also one of her biggest downfalls. Because she is so often overlooked, she does not always get the opportunities she deserves. It forces her to work hard for the things she wants, but not many people, including Dappledpaw, enjoy working at difficult things. unobtrusive and/but easily looked over
Dappledpaw lacks certain aspects of a well-rounded cat. She has very little faith in herself, and she’s terribly insecure about her actions and instincts. Dappledpaw does not trust herself to do right, and she is always second guessing herself. She is constantly desiring praise as it is the only way she can feel good about something she has done. While that can aid her from time to time, the continual pressure to do right and well has made Dappledpaw irrational. Her actions, while they make self to her, often do not follow any normal type of logic. She has butchered her thoughts in her mind and has made entirely unidentifiable to others. But she cannot see this in herself. Dappledpaw only believes that her actions are that of any cat, but most cats would not ask there mothers if they could die with them. irrational, insecure, unbalanced
skills. Dappledpaw is fast and not only as it relates to running. She has quick instincts, and has always been quick on her feet. She moves with a graceful speed that surprise some, given her small size. It is really what allows her to fight somewhat decently because Dappledpaw has always been weak. An illness as a kit left her with a weak immune system and body. She has never been able to keep a substantial amount of muscle on her body, and Dappledpaw finds herself easily beaten by larger opponents. quick on her feet but weak
history. kithood. Dappledkit was born to Tawnyclaw, an avid believer, in a litter of three. In the dead of winter, the odds were against Tawnyclaw’s kits, and none of them showed any sign of strength. It was a cruel twist of fate that not even one moon later all three kits fell ill. Dappledkit’s siblings didn’t survive their first winter. But Dappledkit, although she fell sick alongside her siblings, did. It left the young kit weak, and she never did fully recover. None the less, Tawnyclaw had convinced herself that this was a sign from StarClan. Dappledkit was to be special! As a result the queen made sure never to leave her young daughter’s side, and the pair were never a part afterwards. Dappledkit developed an unhealthy dependency on her mother, and Tawnyclaw, still blinded by grief, failed to see it.
apprenticeship. When Dappledkit was six moons old two very important things happened almost in succession. The first thing was her Apprentice’s ceremony. The second was that Tawnyclaw fell sick. The illness would take hold of her quickly, and the aging she-cat would not last to see the next moon. To say Dappledkit, now Dappledpaw, was heartbroken would be an understatement. Dappledpaw was lost. She had no concept of what life was like without her mother. She could not remember a time that they had been apart because, in fairness, they never had.
Hours before her death, Tawnyclaw reached out to her daughter one last time. Dappledpaw, terrified of what would happen to her next, asked her mother if she could come with. Tawnyclaw was horrified, and she begged her daughter to stay. She told Dappledpaw that StarClan wouldn’t accept her if she took her own life, and if she never made it to StarClan? Tawnyclaw would have failed as a mother. But it wasn’t until Tawnyclaw’s last ditch effort of forcing Dappledpaw to promise that she would stay strong and live that Dappledpaw let her mother go without her. But she never really let go of her mother. They would meet again in StarClan, that was what Tawnyclaw had said, and so Dappledpaw threw herself at her faith. Clutching it like a life line, Dappledpaw came to rely on her beliefs as a her only hope for her mother, and for her happiness.

Wow, what a whirlwind of a character! She is incredibly well-developed. I feel like the first paragraph of her skills would fit better in her personality section, but other than that, I have no criticisms.
