FoF has been a little slow for a little bit, mostly due to staff busyness and absence, for which we apologise. However, FoF isn't the kinda site that just fades away. We've proven time and again that we're here to stay, and the staff live in that knowledge. However, the time has come to mix up the staff a little. We need new hands, new blood, to come in and help the site live and breathe again, rather than just survive. If you'd like to be one of those people, here is your chance We're opening staff applications for all of you. Like always, there is no deadline or set amount of staff members we wish to employ. There are two positions, Mod and Bio mod. Please send your bio crits relatively promptly for the bio mod position, because otherwise we cannot consider your application. Both positions have opportunities for advancement, but involve two different sets of tasks, so please bear that in mind when thinking about which position you’d like to go for. As always, we will select people for jobs best suited to their skills. The FoF staff realise that most of you will not be trained or will not have much experience of running a site. However, we will not be looking for fully formed staff members, but the spark of potential within each member. Therefore, applications are open to anyone, regardless of the experience they have. If you have the skills, we may have a place for you on the staff. MODS-Clean up inactive threads -Write important threads - Manage information threads (I.e plot threads, clan timelines. You will be allocated ones suited to your skills). - Creating and running your own plots, or major clan plots, with the help of an admin. -Monitor threads to make sure the rules are being obeyed at all times -Monitor the c-box to make sure the rules are being obeyed at all times -Check and accept bios. -Help in behind-the-scenes decision making. -Resolve conflicts - Be a positive presence on the site and be around to help and interact with members. This position is best suited to people with organizational skills and a sharp eye. The ability to resolve conflicts or get them off the c-box in a quick manner is a must, though you may not necessarily have to use it very often. Your manner should always be friendly and professional, and you should attempt to interact with members regularly. A lot of your job will be to do with people relation.BIO-MODS-Intially, check, but not accept, bios -If you prove yourself a solid bio-critter, you will be given the power to accept bios. -Help in behind-the-scenes decision making, This position is best suited to people who are familiar with what the staff here at FoF look for in a bio. You should be able to give constructive crits tailored to a person‘s age and ability, as well as identify inconsistencies in a personality, history, and appearance. It is a specialist job, requiring you to do one single job, and whether you do any more tasks will be based on your skills. ***Bio Mod applicants and MODS WANTING TO CARRY OUT BIO MODDING will need to pm crits of the two sample bios Foxclaw and Leafpaw to Pyro. To do this, you should definitely take a good look at the Bio Moderation Guide |

Name: Jasmine (Rii) Time Zone: GMT Preferred Position: Mod Qualifications: Non-stop creativity, Artistic, friendly, read a lot into the warrior series, keen eye towards names and appearances and just playful, kind and loving. Past experience: Ombre Primaverile - Left due to it vanishing, used to be a mod on forum motion ombre, proboards Ombre... Did loads of bios there, looked through bios (realistic only), I designed the logo and helped enforce the rules. I've been on the site for a year and managed to get really close with everybody during that time. Started on Neopets 2009. Why you want the position: I just love this forum so much and I want to help as much as I can with the site. I also hope to make friends with everybody here and get close to them and help with bios or behind the scene actions like plotting and things like that. Warrior Cats forum (cannot remember the name ) was a mod there too, helped with the plots and cats and took a good insight into the forum. Why you think you‘re right for the position: Experience with the mod's on three different sites based wolves + warriors. I believe I'll be able to lend a hand and I'm actually okay with being a Bio-Mod or a Mod to be truthful. I'm trustworthy, come on every day since I live in England so I can help with any problems. Name: Monster Time Zone: Eastern Time Preferred Position: Either one :3 Qualifications: Well, i guess i am very friendly and love to help out whenever i can. When i become determined i can get things done quickly, and am sure to double check my work when it is important. I have experience in running a site, and helping others run one as well. I have patience, and am willing to learn pretty much anything necessary to help out if needed. Past experience: My first spot in the warriors and RP world were the same; 3-4 years ago i joined a tribe based RP -called The Tribe Of Clear Waters- where i started out as a simple member and eventually made my way up to a moderator and basically just helped out around the site. If bios needed to be checked off, if something needed to be edited, or if they needed to brainstorm i was there to help. Many other side-sites and RPs came from this original site, and i even made a few of my own way back then. The sites eventually closed down, became inactive, and we all drifted into our own lives. I stayed away from RP in general for quite some time, until a new warriors RP site was brought to my attention by one of the youtuber's i had subscribed to. I decided to jump back into the world RP with Warrior's Wraith. The main site lasted for a month or so, before the admin became inactive and gave up on the site. Most of the members, who had grown attached to each other, decided to make a temporary site for it- just in case the main admin ever returned. I was also one of the main members/staff, and helped out quite a bit- accepting bios (most were never actually checked over, just accepted) and doing what we all did; Role Play. The site has had its ups and downs, but im still semi-active on it right now as one of the main leaders and head of a new plot that is in development. Why you want the position: This is a wonderful forum, and i thought 'hey, i love this forum, i have some experience, and they need some new help, so why don't i try to sign up for a position?' basically how it went in my mind :3 Its something that im a little intimidated to go for, but if i try my best- then hey, at least i tried ^ - ^ Why you think you‘re right for the position: I have some experience with running and helping out around different sites, i know how warriors work, and im very used to the RP atmosphere. I have looked over bios before, and am very open to constrictive criticism if necessary for any part of these positions. I am friendly as well, more than happy to welcome new members, and am very open minded. I also come on almost everyday, and if i was ever going to be absent for a good amount of time- i would be sure to let you know. Off site contact: Email; MONSTERaddict21@yahoo.com

Name: Sori Time Zone: Central Preferred Position: Mod Qualifications: [/url] though I’m not very good at coding, it easily confuses me. I love writing, though I’m not sure that’s a skill to be mentioned here. I’m quite the grammar and spelling addict, I cannot stand bad grammar or spelling. I love making things look pretty [Forum posts, regular posts, tables] I tend to ramble when talking about myself as I am now o-o; Lastly, I have a sharp eye, am very organized, and can take rude comments without commenting inappropriately. [/ul] Past experience: I am currently a moderator on SSS Warrior Cats Proboards; On-site I monitor the C-box, Check bios, help with RP classes, Roleplay, Accept and move bios, Help with guest questions, monitor roleplays and fan-clans to make sure they are within the rules and in the right section. If a member reports something to me, or asks me something, I answer with the best thing I possibly can. However, if I cannot do something, I’m definitely not against referring them to one of our Admins so that they can help. I do a lot, and tend to be an overall helper, meaning I go anywhere and do anything I am required and/or asked to do. I’ve been here for 1 year, 11 months, 2 weeks and 2 days. I've been a mod on two other sites, where I did generally the same thing, though I forgot the names. And I was a mod and writer on Pet Adoptables but had to give up my position due to my computer catching a virus and being inactive for nearly a year. Why you want the position: Still fairly new to the site, I would love the opportunity to help out. I think it would be a good experience for me to branch out, and I love helping in any way I possibly can. I think it would provide good experience for me, as well as help even myself further my FoF knowledge. Why you think you‘re right for the position: Well, I’m pretty well rounded when it comes to dealing with people in general. I’m not someone that’s so strict that they can’t take a joke, but knows just where to draw the line. I guess one could say that I’m an overachiever, as I often take on too many things at one time. However, when I put my mind to it there’s no stopping me from what I want to achieve. I consider myself funny, though I can be quite absent-minded at the same time. I don’t like to think of myself as rude, though sometimes I can be a bit snappy if I’ve had a bad day (Though I never take it out on anyone) I just end up talking less and working more. I really hate talking about myself, I can never find the words to say. Overall, I guess I would consider myself good for the job because I love doing what I do, roleplaying, making characters, helping out, greeting newbies, I love it all and even if I wasn’t staff or anything, I would still be one of those people that offers to help on what she can, simply because that is just the type of person I am. Off site contact: I have a YIM; c.williams2384 ; I am unable to get on much, because it’s on my phone. However, I can provide my personal cell phone number {Only for other staff} for easy and relative 24/7 contact, since that’s also the way the staff on SSS contact me when I’m needed for something.

Name: Blossom Time Zone: Eastern Preferred Position: Mod (but I’ll admit to being highly interested in Bio-Mod.) Qualifications: Well, for starters, I have absolutely no graphic-making ability. But let’s ignore that! ‘cause that’s not any type of qualification. I’ve been a moderator for…years, mostly on Ombre Primaverile, which is now dead due to….well, mostly the lack of a head admin most of the time. Rii was there with us! And unfortunately a misunderstanding took place and we’re where we are now. Currently, I’m head admin of Remnants, which is a place that I and our moderately-sized Ombre group turned to when Ombre disappeared. Ombre means “Shadow”, so we named the place “Remnants of Shadow” and we’re still getting on our feet! Most of us are busy and are waiting ‘til summer, when the real fun will begin! Am I blabbering on and on now? Yeah, I am. Anyway, I’m adequate in most areas of being a mod. I’s a fwiendly person! I’m not afraid to enforce rules and policies at all. I’m fair, and I enjoy listening to others and giving what advice I can. I also consider myself quite a good mediator, as seeing both sides of an argument is generally easy for me and I try to help others see all sides, as well. I’m not always successful, but I try. And I’m active and am willing to do most anything any other staff member asks of me. I love to be helpful! Past experience: Ombre Primaverile, which is now dead. I was co-admin and kept the site alive, basically, because our head admin was not able to be around that much. She would be active and then…just not. It wasn’t always her fault and we never blamed her, but it left us working so much harder to run the site because we knew nothing about her plans. After struggling to keep Ombre alive, our head admin finally announced that she was leaving (for good) and we all decided it start a-new. So we rallied and made Remnants of Shadow, which we’re still trying to get set up and started. None of this was too long ago. I am head-admin there, with loads of support (there’s no way I could do it on my own, I’ve tried!). Here is a link, though we’re not entirely set up and started yet: Remants of ShadowWhy you want the position: I like to help, when I can. And this will allow me to help out a lot more. Also, I would very much like to learn what I can from the other mods here, because this site is so successful, I’m actually in awe. Really. Why you think you‘re right for the position: Well, other than having experience, I’m mature (I should be, given my age) and I know the rules of the interwebz! I’m not a creepy stalker or anything like that and I fully respect everyone on the internet. I take things seriously and I know what’s appropriate from what’s not. I don’t say anything to anyone that may be harmful, because there’s just absolutely no telling about anyone; from who they are, what situation they’re in, how they’re feeling at any given time, etc. I'm also very eager to learn! Off site contact: Well, I have a skype, but I used my name for it. I do have an old email that I could check in on at least one every day that doesn’t give anything away. uswolf@ymail.com That be it.

Name: Nightfall
Time Zone: Eastern Time Zone (GMT -0500)
Preferred Position: Moderator
Qualifications:
Graphic Making
While I'm still an amateur at using Photoshop, I am getting better. I have Photoshop Elements 7 at my disposal, and I understand how to use it. I have good design skills and color co-ordination (should the admins need help making skins) thanks to plenty of phtography and art classes.
Organization, Time Management and Leadership Skills
For those who know me well, they know I'm not the best at organization. Yes, I'll admit that I'm pretty terrible at keeping track of certain things and managing time. However, thanks to recent events, I've gotten much, much better.
Starting at the beginning of this school year, I joined my school's drama production of FISH (an SNL parody, comedy show) as a stage member. Through this I learned how important organization on stage is (keeping track of props, costumes and scripts) and time management (being at rehearsals on time, knowing how much time you have between sketches to change scenes) are.
I also learned plenty of leadership skills. Even though I'm a "lowly stage crew member," I still have plenty of jobs that take leadership skills to do. Stage crew members need to know where the actors are at all times, and need to know where they are coming or going during rehearsals and shows.
Stage crew also have a terrifying power over actors during shows; we have the right to tell them to shut up if they're being loud. While this may seem trivial, it's extremely unprofessional to hear actors laughing backstage during a show.
Along with my stage crew job, at the upcoming show on June 1st it is very likely that I will be stage manager, as my current partner in crime and stage manager buddy Alex will be heading up to the booth during shows to work on technical things with the drama teacher. As a result, being the next person with the most amount of stage experience, I'll probably be promoted to stage manager for FISH shows. Being stage manager for FISH gives me the important job of always conferring with the drama teacher and helping him with setting the stage for sketches and scoring the stage for shows. I also have the responsibility of leading the other stage crew members, of course.
As such, through FISH, I have gained plenty of organization, time management, and leadership skills which I believe can be adapted to working as a moderator for FoF.
Free Time
While it isn't always discussed, it's clear that many members on FoF don't have much time to actually be around the site. Many members are older and are heading to college/university or working.
Since I'm still in high school, and will be for a while longer, my evenings and weekends are open. As well, I'm an internet junkie, so I'm usually on even when it seems like I'm not. I know this will come in handy in the future, especially near the end of the school year, during the summer and at the beginning of the school year, which appear to be times when we get most new members.
Coding Skills/Admin Skills
As mentioned below, I have run sites before, and they have taught me valuable coding and admin skills. I know how the admin panel works and what goes where, and this can be a very important skill. If someone who has no idea how the panel works is made a mod, they'll be really lost and will require large amounts of help until they have it memorized. This can take up precious time that the other mods and admins don't have.
As well, I know some coding, and can probably help out when it comes to new skins and such. The codes on the forums I made were made by Smangii but entirely modified by me, and I know the basics behind tablemaking and colour and image coding.
Conflict Resolution/Problem Solving
These two skills are extremely important in being a mod. IRL, I've always been noted for having excellent skills in problem solving and conflict resolution. I'm often at the center of my friend's fights, trying to diffuse them. I also know when to put my foot down and to tell someone to stop.
My problem solving skills are just as good. I've always beem enamoured with word and visual problems, and this can come in handy when fixing problems that have to do with the site. As well, I also know when I'm way in over my head and need help. I'm willing to swallow my pride and ask instead of improvising and causing more damage.
Past experience: I have had some experience with other forums, which were three I made myself. While none of them really got off the ground, they all taught me admin skills, like how coding works and how the admin panel works. They also taught me how advertising works and how running a site in general works. I can provide URLs to these sites upon request (basically this means I need to remember the URLs and I'm too tired right now to look |D).
Why you want the position: I've been a member of FoF for a loooong time. I joined in March 2009, less than a month after the original v1 forum opened for business. I've been with FoF during it's ups and downs, and I've always been inspired by the work that the admins and mods did for us during those times. As such, I want to become part pf the group, because I want to do the same for other members.
Why you think you‘re right for the position:
I think I am right for this position because I. Am. Awesome.
Lolno.
I think I'm right for this position because of many things, including my experience, my time, and my dedication. Yeah, I know I don't roleplay a lot. I blame that on my coming and going muse. But still, I try, as hard as I can, to roleplay as much as possible. I know it doesn't seem like much, but I really do try. And yeah, I know I've tried (and failed) to leave FoF before.
But I've been through a lot with this site, and not all of that "a lot" brings back good memories. I took that month-long break because I needed it. But I couldn't stay away, because I couldn't leave my friends behind.
All I really wanna say is that this site is a huge part of my life. So are it's members. So are it's plots, characters, and ideas. And I wanna help out as much as I can, because I feel that I owe you all, and this site, that much.
