Dovepaw ~ The Innocence and the Dove

Beliefs: Dovepaw is starting to believe a little more in StarClan each day. There are different beliefs that circle around her. Without a real mother to teach her what she should believe, it's hard for her to know. She is still confused, but she is beginning to follow her own path on what to believe.

Appearence: Dovepaw is very skinny and small with short legs. She has a very delicate frame and is not very muscular. She has small, dainty paws and a very soft step. She tends to stay out of play fights and other squabbles. Other cats have to be careful so they don't crush her. Her fragility keeps her from being a good fighter. She is easily hurt so she needs to stay out a heated battle. Her hunting skills are better because of her soft step and delicacy. Dovepaw has long fluffly fur. It is soft like a dove's feather. That is one of the reason's Snowflower gave her the prefix of Dove. Her coat tends to get thicker during the winter to help keep her warm. She begins to shed in the springtime to prepare for the heat of summer. A good thing about her fur is that it won't weigh her down in the water. It also drys quickly do the feathery aspect of it. She has mainly white fur. She has grey around her eyes and on her ears, there is also grey smudges on her belly. She has creamy whisps of fur around the inner part of her face. Her back paws and the tip of her tail are also cream colored. Her whiskers are long and droopy. They are a mixture of white and grey. Her eyes are a beautiful oceanic blue. Her eyes are very soft, they make you feel calm and collected when you look into them. They always seem at peace with the world.

Personality: Dovepaw can be an annoying cat. She tends to be very sweet and kind, yet at others kind of snappy. It is unknown to her why she is like this. It may be the way Spiderstorm raised her or it could be just a kit thing, something that'll wear off once she is older. The snappiness usually occurs if you insult her personal opinions, Clan, or family. She tends to become strongly attached and clingy to other cats. She is like this because of the loss she suffered as a young kit. She feels that if she is close to them it will prevent her from losing them. She is loyal to her Clan because of the way she was raised. She has been taught to be willing to lay down her life for her Clanmates. Dovepaw is loyal to her Clanmates and a friend to all. She would die fighting for them. Even though she knows not to grow close with cats from another Clan she is still friendly towards them. She really doesn't care what others think of her. She knows that the only thing that matters is what she thinks of herself. Dovepaw tends to be very headstrong. She never lets other cats tell her that she is wrong. She never cares if she gets in the way of things as long as she is able to do what she set out to. One thing that you could never tell about her unless you looked deep was that she yearns for a mother's love. She acts like she isn't really affected by her family's death, but the reality is that it's tearing her apart inside. If you accuse her of not caring she will jump to her defense and snap at just about anyone. She thinks there should be less rivalry among the Clans. Because she is so young, she doesn't quite understand why the Clans are enemies. As she grows older she'll start to realize that there is reason for rivalry and she'll stop with her peace making quest. She isn't easily swayed from her opinions. Like stated earlier she is headstrong and will do just about anything to prove a point. She is stubborn and doesn't back down easily from her beliefs. Dovepaw is a very loving friendly cat. She can be annoying at times. She is very headstrong and isn't persuaded very easily. She is broken inside about her family's death, but remains strong on the outside. She gets a little to attached to other cats in her life. She believes in peace between the Clans at the current moment. She would die fighting for her Clan despite her inner beliefs. That my friends, is Dovepaw.

Skills: Dovepaw is best at hunting. She has a very soft step which allows her to sneak up on her prey. She is also very sneaky and is able to sneak up on her prey before they notice her. Two things that don't help her to hunt are her fur color, and the fact that she can't shut up. She'll learn eventually to be quiet at the right time. Being so young, she doesn't know that are times for quiet and times for talking. Her fur color, white and creamy grey also make her stand out amongst her surroundings. Both these things help to alert the prey she's stalking. Other than that, she's an overall pretty good hunter. Dovepaw, unfortunately, isn't a very good fighter. Being as small and delicate as she is, she has to stay out of the heat of battle. She is easily hurt. Stonepaw even once sent her to the medicine den because she got hurt in a play fight. She isn't very strong either, which definitely doesn't help her out in a fight. She is very fast, due to lack of muscle and short legs. Thus, unlike her brother, she is not a very good fighter. She is also a good friend. She is lovable and makes friends very easily. She is also fun to be around, despite the annoyingness.

History:
[/li][li]Birth Before she was born, her father, Hawkheart mysteriously disappeared. No one ever knew what had happened to him. Tufts of his fur were found along the border and blood stains were also found in various places. This lead the Clan to believe that he was killed by some random animal. Snowflower, heavy with kits at the time, took this event very hard. She stopped eating and drinking, endangering her and her kits lives. After almost losing her kits she began taking care of herself again. She couldn't bare to lose her kits and her mate. A couple days later, she began her kitting. The first two were born without a problem. They were healthy young kits. One a grey and white tabby, the other a white fluffy kit wth cream and grey patches on her. While giving birth to the third and final one, she began experiencing problems. Finally after much pain and blood, a little tortieshell was born. Sadly, she was much less healthy and sickly than the other two were. Snowflower had lost too much blood and wasn't going to make it. Drawing her last couple breaths, she indicated to the oldest, her only tom. "Stonekit" She purred softly. Struggling for another breath, she indicated her next oldest, "Dovekit."She took in one last breath and indicated to the tortieshell, "Specklekit." Then she lay still and peaceful. Stonekit, Dovekit, and Specklekit were taken in by Spiderstorm, who had just had her own litter of kits. Sadly, Specklekit died later that night. Leaving just Stonekit and Dovekit behind.
[/li][li]Kithood Both kits grew older and remained healthy. Dovekit a loving happy little kitten. Once she learned to talk, oh my StarClan, she would never shut up. "What's this? Why's this? How's this? Who's this? Yadadadada" She grew very attached to her foster mother Spiderstorm and her foster brother Mothkit over the course of her Kithood. She befriended other cats too, such as Kitewhisker. The tuxedo elder who just happened to be an awesome story teller. As a kit, she made a promise to him to bring him all the fresh kill she possibly could. She also befriended Briartail. A young warrior who later would become her brother's mentor. Even though he taught Stonekit how to win every time in hide and seek, she still liked him. Out of all the cats she was close to in her younger years, Stonekit was by far the one she was closest to. They did have their fair share of squabbles, but the always worked it out and loved each other. She and Stonepaw will hopefully always, be best friends.
[/li][li] Apprenticeship Seeing how, she has just begun her apprenticeship there isn't much to put here. The only things that have really happened so far is that she now has Duskstorm as a mentor and that she has kept her promise to Kitewhisker of bringing him the best fresh kill.
