From outside my window I see the world. Days pass me by, each one a missed opportunity. I'm tired of being a bystander to my own life.

I want to see more than the walls of this house. I'm tired of doing the same thing, eating the same thing. I don't want to chase toy mice anymore, give me something real.

When it rains I think of her. It's been raining a lot lately.

I bet she loves the rain. She's probably soothed by its steady patter, intoxicated by its musky scent. To her rain isn't a nuisance but a blessing.

I bet she loves everything, everyone... and everyone loves her too. I know I do. She's beautiful, probably more beautiful than any cat and smells like the sweetest flowers.

Sometimes I think the rain is StarClan crying, but I don't today. Today it's just her. She wants me to know she's out there, watching over me.

How could I forget? Every time rain touches me I imagine it's her.
