So, while we're not actively progressing any plots, we thought it'd be an idea to give all of you, particularly newer members, something to do! We're thinking of y'all, ya know!
So, here is a new idea to FoF. A thread roulette.
A roulette table typically involves a lot of luck and the potential to lose a lot of stuff. However, in this game, you have nothing to lose! You only have fun to gain.
The idea is that you sign up for this thread, suggesting the names of at least 2 cats that you wouldn't mind roleplaying with (unless you only have one accepted). Once we've got enough names, or sign ups seem to have stopped, we will give each member a number. Using a randomiser, we will then pair you up with another member. THEN, us admins will look at your cats and choose two cats for you to roleplay with, and will give you an interesting prompt for you to play out (which is optional).
The idea is that each roleplayer, old or new, will get a unique roleplay, perhaps with someone they've never threaded with before. We'll make every effort to create INTERESTING pairings and to give out unusual prompts, so you can all have the most interesting roleplays possible. Plus, you guys will have a ready made plot as well as your own imagination, who knows where this one thread could lead?
