No, this isn't a technical absence message. It's more like a "watch out, shiz is going on" message.
Anyways. I've been drafted.
Not the army. Worse. The tech and stage crew team. D8
Jk. But yeah, this year I've been told specifically by the drama teacher at my school that I'm needed for FISH, the drama festival, and the musical. All of these may constitute a lot of time on my part.
FISH is having four shows this year. October, December, February, and the end of May. We haven't even started on the October one yet. More info to come soon about that.
The drama festival is being hosted by our school this year. This means that the tech and stage crew will be very busy. Most of the work will happen during the school day probably, but some will occur after school. No word on when exactly the drama festival is this year, but it usually occurs 'round December-January-February. But I could be wrong.
The musical this year is Annie, I think. Since my partner Alex is heading up to tech booth with the drama teacher this year, I could very well be managing the stage, which takes up a lot of time. Fortunately, the stage and tech crew usually come in late, about 3 months before the musical. The musical is usually around April-May, so lots of time before that comes up.
I'm officially marking this as my FISH-drama festival-muscial absences thread, which means any absences I may suffer because of above events will be put on this page.
