Beliefs Born of believing parents, Rainwhisker also believes in StarClan. However, she does not believe that they control everything. Rainwhisker sees StarClan as something for hope and guidence. To her StarClan tries to point the Clans in the right direction but allows free will. Rainwhisker doesn't try to cram Starclan down other cats' throats and has no issue with cats who do not believe in StarClan. To her a good warrior, or medicine cat, is one that provides for the clan and gives their all.

Appearance | Rainwhisker is a cat of the slender and long variety. Having siamese blood she is very long legged, steady on her paws, and has prominate features. Her face is soft, but angular. Rainwhisker's ears are a bit larger than most cats but are porportional to her head and tend to gather more information than she cares to know! Her tail is long and whip like, always moving and twitching as if she's always thinking about something.
This she-cats fur has changed since she was a kit. When she was born her pelt was a bit darker than it is now. As a young kit it was still a creamy white, but had small speckles of silver here and there, giving her the prefix, Rain. Her legs are striped with gray tabby stripes, darker on her back paws than her front. Her tail is even darker, silver and black coating it's long length. Her face has the famous tabby markings while her eyes are a medium shade of soft blue.
Over time Rainwhisker's pelt has become a bit more creamy white and the once very noticeable silver specks have mostly fade. Light brown now highlights her fur and the stripes on her front legs. She's a very soft looking cat, but toned by the living of a Clan member.
Personality | There's a sweet side to everyone and there's a nasty side, but when you see Rainwhisker you'll find a rounded cat of nice. This feline probably should have slunk off to be a kitty pet, or a loner in a barn, because she doesn't have a mean bone in her body. Even when it comes to fighting Rainwhisker can barely extend her claws. Her compassion for others is rooted so far down the thought of inflicting pain makes her sad. Rainwhisker is the kind of cat that has something nice to say about everyone and when something goes wrong she finds some good in it. The only time her jaw sets is when someone is so blatantly mean to the weak or defenseless. Maybe, just maybe, then you will see a cat with fierce characteristics...but don't hold your breath.
Not only is Rainwhisker nice, but she's very soft spoken. Rarely would you hear a complaint on her lips, even in the worst cases. She tends to believe that something good can come from anything and tries to shed a bit of light on everyone. Everyone should get a long, that's why they're a clan right? A family? Rainwhisker doesn't see anything wrong with maintaining tight bonds and love for one another. That being said, at this point Rainwhisker doesn't even see the divide. She can sense tension but stays pretty neutral. As time progresses it's probably safe to say that this she-cat will take the rebels' side; only because unfairness isn't something Rainwhisker stands by. If MeadowClan was created by cats of different background, then that's how it should continue to be.
When mad, because even the nicest of cats get there, Rainwhisker will not speak a word. If she doesn't have anything nice to say, why say it? Even in those situations her response might be something like, "Excuse me" or, "If you don't mind, I will speak with you later." This tends to get a little sticky for her because she becomes a doormat.
That being said, there is another side. Rainwhisker hates being lied to. If she were to even use the word hate, she would use it for liars and those who are fake. Break trust with her once and good luck getting it back.
Skills | Rainwhisker has a knack for understanding what's wrong with cat. It doesn't take her long to figure it out and generally she knows what to say to help. Rainwhisker isn't the best at fighting, but knows how to hold her own. Hunting is one of her best skills. Her nose can pick up a mouse from a mile away. The silent nature of her being pours from every fiber.
Rainwhisker is absolutely horrid at swimming. Chances are she'd drown in most situations. While she likes getting her paws wet a little, Rainwhisker will not go in water that rises past her belly.
Her biggest flaw however is that she's far too trusting on first impressions. Even if she gets a bad vibe, Rainwhisker will treat said cat with kindness and respect until they prove otherwise. This tends to get her in trouble with being walked on and used.
Rainwhisker also has difficulty with saying 'no' if it means she can help someone. Already hunting but someone needs ticks taken care of? Oh, you got it! More herbs? She'll get 'em. She's what they call a people-pleaser and will run herself into the ground to do so.
History | There isn't much to tell exactly. Rainwhisker was born to two ForestClan cats and came with them to clans at a very young age. Her parents tried to teach her the ways of the warrior, but Rainwhisker was drawn to helping cats and keeping everyone happy. The result? MeadowClan having a not-so-fiesty-warrior.
Her apprenticeship was easy, well...maybe not so much. She did her best, excelled in hunting, but flailed a little in combat. Being so sensitive to other it was hard for her to fight -- even in mock battles. Her mentor adored her though, probably because she was so thoughtful and truly genuine.
Barely making it through her warrior training, Rainwhisker has managed to keep her head above water and make her way with hunting. Nothing exciting has happened to her yet.
But, she's still young so stay tuned!
Role Play Example |
It was another day for Rainwhisker. Another glorious, happy day where the sun was shinning and her belly was adequately filled. Her paws skimmed the ground as she trotted to the fresh-kill pile, catch in her jaws. Dropping a rabbit on the pile she felt a smile on her lips as she licked her whiskers. It was leaf-fall but she still managed to snag the critter.
Turning away her balloon of happiness almost deflated, almost. Coming toward her was Rabbitear, the she-cat whom she had a small problem with. Don't get her wrong, Rabbitear was nice enough...it was just...Rainwhisker had overheard the gray she-cat talking about her. And it wasn't very nice.
Taking a small breath, Rainwhisker left a cordial smile on her face and continued toward the warrior's den. "Hey, Rainwhisker." Rabbitear had an uncomfortable look on her face as she approached. The timid warrior smiled back at her clanmate and gave her a small head nod. "Hello, Rabbitear. Fine day, isn't?" The other female gave an awkward nod and continued on her way.
Rainwhisker's face fell a bit. Why couldn't everyone just get along? Sighing quietly, the striped Siamese picked up her pace and slipped into the warrior's den. Kneading her moss for a few moments she curled up tightly and closed her blue eyes. Tomorrow was a new day, which meant new opportunities. Perhaps they could be friends tomorrow.
Or not. Rainwhisker was going to be cordial either way.
