Setting
UPDATE: Since the very recent fire, much of the land surrounding the camp is burned and exposed. There is less prey and far fewer plants; the remaining cinders have also blown into some water sources and contaminated them. The camp itself is little more than ashes and scorched rocks.
MeadowClan is right on the inner border of a forest. The entire territory covers that of a large field and much of the forest lining it. Most of the dens are located in abandoned fox or badger burrows or fallen trees. The leader's den is located under a tree whose exposed roots are tangled around a cluster of boulders. The entrance to their den is located on the opposite side of the topmost boulder. Beneath the boulders in a burrow is the apprentice's den. The medicine cat's den is to the left of the leader's den in the hollow of a tree. The medicine cat treats wounded or sick cats at the bottom, but his herbs and nest are located higher up in an old owl nest.
To the left of this is the clan entrance, which is a medium-sized tunnel of weeds and thorn bushes that leads out into the field. Many smaller tunnels branch off from the original, giving hiding places/escape routes for the clan. After the entrance is the nursery which is deep in the ground in a large badger burrow. To the left is the elder's den, which is located in the base of a large, hollow tree. Next to the elder's den is another entrance that leads out to the clan's training area, which is full of shrubs and small trees to climb and hide under. Finally, located in the side of the boulders is the warrior's den, which is located in a rather tight space between two boulders. The leader's den is attached, but blocked by weeds.
For prey, the cats rely on rabbits, mice, and birds, usually digging into rodent dens or climbing trees to capture them.
Because of their affection for burrows and the underground, if they are out on a late hunting or border patrol and find it too late to make their way back to camp, they'll try to find an abandoned burrow, though there has been a cat or two that have mistakenly fallen upon an active badger or fox den and haven't been seen again.
MeadowClan Cats (General)
Most MeadowClan cats are lithe, agile, and long-legged. Typically, they have broader paws, which helps them move more earth when digging their burrows, though toms have larger paws than females, making them more efficient. Toms are generally larger and taller than females, while the females are more dainty and petite. Though it's best not to underestimate them, since the she-cats are generally better fighters than the toms.
MeadowClan cats excel and jumping and climbing due to their foresty terrain and long grass, though they aren't the best fighters in the forest. Because they constantly use their claws to dig burrows and for prey, they have a tendency to have rather blunt claws, though they have compensated by increasing the use of their bodies and teeth in battle.
Personality-wise, MeadowClan cats are a bit stormy and rather proud, not ones to ask for help, but if it's offered, they won't necessarily turn it away. They will also be ones to extend help to Clans struggling for whatever reasons.
