!!!!!!!DISCLAIMER!!!!!!!
For those of you who came here expecting a fosrs rp because OOH GLOWY STARTED A THREAD IT'S GOING TO BE CHOCK FULL OF METAPHORS'N'GOODNESS... sorry. This is Fof's first official CRACK RP! (Js, if there was a way to make that text flash neon and have sparkles, I'd totally be all over that). So. Expect a lot of shenanigans instead. |D
Like... take Hawkheart and apply hallucinogenic drugs. That sort of crazy. i'mtotallynotactuallyputtingheronhallucinogenicsforthisthreadsodon'tshootmek?k. And the metaphor has nothing to do with the fact that I'm actually using her.
Just for the record, this first post will be fairly normal. It'd be better to ease in, I think.
ALSO. MONSTER AND SLUG. I am sorry this is up late. My internet cut out last night for unknown reasons. So. Sorry.
Hawkheart smiled. Today was a rather... shall we say interesting? Yes, interesting is a good word. Very well. Today was a rather interesting day. She was out here all by her lonesome self, at the abandoned ranch, to be weird. It was an assignment. Yep. She'd had a dream last night, a very strange dream, and she had been given instructions in the dream to practice being weird. It mattered not that the instructions had come from a talking leaf. The leaf had looked at her (or perhaps not, it was difficult to tell with things that had no eyes) and it had said, "Hawkheart, you've been feeling under the weather and under-appreciated for a wile now. Why don't you take a personal day tomorrow? Go out and just do whatever you want to do in the whoooooooooooole world. Anything. Go eat a mushroom. Go flail around in a puddle of water. Go catch a lightning bug. Whatever. Just go be you, even if it means being super weird."
So. Here she was. The leaf had told her she needed to practice being weird. How did you be weird? How did you do that intentionally? She was unusual enough back home. Maybe she could play a game. That would be fun. Yes, a game to distract her from... everything. Life had not been the same ever since the fire. She turned to survey her waving tail. Some of the fur had begun to grow back on the end, and the peeling was mostly done with. Mostly. Or maybe it really was done peeling and it just looked bad because the skin was exposed.
She felt heavy. It was time for a break. Maybe she should just stay out here for a while. Screw her name, her reputation of loyalty! Screw everything! She could go back and get Bearclaw and he could live out here with her. No, that was ridiculous. He would never. SHE would never. Today was a day for the ridiculous, but not that sort of ridiculous. She was going to play a game and forget that the rest of the world even existed.
The doors to the old ranch building were ajar. How interesting. What a perfect opportunity! The ranch became a mighty fortress, and she an assassin. Or something. SOMETHING SNEAKY, OKAY? Yep. The patches of light on the floor would burn her paws if she stepped on them, so she had to stick to the shadows to safely reach the old piles of hay on the other side. It was an arduous task, but she was well-qualified for it, and, after a tense period of time (her enemies were pursuing her through the shadows, you see) she was able to jump into the hay and roll around. That would throw them off her trail for sure!
