((Okay, I've been reading the last Warriors book from Omen of the stars, the last hope. I've been craving a warriors roleplay as well as writing my own and I thought; Hey! I haven't roleplayed and Rolo said about her new ideas, so why the heck not? Here I am! I'd appreciate it if you guys joined, I've missed you all. This forum needs to be lively again! Like, seriously. >.> ))
She had remembered the flames, the heat licking at her pelt and scaring her. Rolling onto her side in the heather. Her emerald green eyes gazed off at the old den, the sight of the sprouts lifting through. She heaved herself onto her stomach and slowly stood up, her lean brown fur ruffling softly in the oncoming breeze that teased with her pelt and played with the snow that fell onto the ground and covered the new sprouts of life that had been fertilized by the soil, waiting to breathe from the snow and bring new life back into the dens.
Staring around, the image of the cats dashing in fear at the fog and smoke that choked and teased at the cats senses, the apprentices fleeing. As she took steps forward, her tail lashed softly side to side and her ears perked to listen out for danger. Many moons had past, but obviously the smoke had scared and scarred the cats for life. It was a fear that every cat had to live with and was unfortunate to of been struck.
Of course, this she-cat hadn't got out all clean and safe like she had hoped. Her fur had only just recently grown back on her heels and flank. She had been scorched and injured herself in bracken, but had healed. Her muscles had finally grown back after a moon of barely eating and she had gained the weight she had lost in that moon. Animals had finally decided to make their way back into the clan camp much to the she-cats relief.
She headed down to the stream, dipping her head and lapped softly at the water - her tongue curling and grabbing water to lead it into her mouth before cleaning her lips and dipping her paws in the ice-cold water just to brush it over her ears and face. The cold sensation made her pelt tingle, and her fur ruffle slightly, but she swallowed the cold feeling down and broke some more ice around the hole where she had grabbed at the water. Leaning up, her gaze shifted around the area before Sparrowflight turned and headed back up to the den. Things were different now, a lot more open so she had to keep an eye out from all four areas, from North to South.
As she stumbled clumsily through the snow, keeping her head high and her tail high, she made sure she could see where she was going as she climbed the slope just to fall into an old rabbit burrow that had been widened due to abuse of cats running and walking over it, kits playing in it and apprentices digging at it.
As she landed with a thud in the hole, she peered up and spat out some snow and old fur.
"Mousedung." She murmured before climbing clumsily out of the hole and glancing at her snow and mud covered body. "Just when I cleaned too. Lovely."
She rasped her tongue over her pad, removing the bits of mud that stuck to her pad, she then cleaned her fur once more before heading out of the hole fully and stood up nearby, just to make sure no more cats had seen her clumsy mistake before lowering her head and sighed.
