Ponderosa is a quiet town from the twolegs' perspective; the rich end blends gradually into the poor, and life isn't especially hard-so long as you don't mind hard work. However, the same can't quite be said by the cats who dwell there. The divide between the kittypets and 'alley-walkers' is a sharp one, and all view the neighboring clans with a suspicious eye. Kittypets don't often roam, being stuck between the hammer of the gangs of rogues and the anvil of the wild clan cats, and well...who can blame them? The loners and rogues of the area, however, are made of stronger stuff, and are perfectly happy to wander through the alleyways of the poorer districts as well as the tidy backyards of the larger mansions on the other side.
