1. Loyal Through the good and the bad he remained su Hermano Fiel. Though she pushed, bullied, doubted and constrained, he stood by her, unwavering. Thick as glue but different as oil and water, they remained in the same bowl, together but not mixed.
She caged his desires. But he remained.
She tried to change him. But he remained.
She watched as they beat him. But he remained, ever loyal, ever trusting.
Perhaps it was stupidity that made him stay. Perhaps it was that ever-lasting bond that siblings share that made him blind to all wrongs done to him by her paw.
Title: Hermano Fiel Translation: 'Loyal Brother' Cast: Otterclaw, Reedfoot Word Count: 100
2. Happy I don't see him smile very often. He's always all frowns and grumbles. I suppose he can't help it, being the fluffy blue cannibal that he is...But everyone needs a little light in their life. Everyone needs to smile, if only every once in a while.
I think I'll give Bluefur a flower today.
Because happiness is a flower. It needs time and love to grow.
Title: 'Happiness is a Flower' Cast: Crowpaw, Bluefur Word Count: 66
3. Driven Today’s the day. I’ll show them all. I’ll show every last one of them how great I can be. I don’t need their help. I never did and I never will. There’s the top, tantalizingly close. I can make it if I just try a little harder, stretch a little longer, want it a little more…
Why am I falling?
Why can’t I get up?
”Icethroat! StarClan…do you need help?”
Why can’t the answer be no?
”What were you doing trying to climb that? Where‘s Brightnose?”
Why am I here?
To succeed. Maybe not today…But one day, they’ll all see.
Title: Help Cast: Icethroat Word Count: 100
4. Ancient One.
The Lichening begins.
Two.
I am frozen with fear.
Three.
My body is changing.
Four.
There’s no stopping it now.
Five.
The seconds are hours.
Six.
The minutes are days.
Seven.
The hours are weeks.
Eight.
I can feel them.
Nine.
They are my only comrades.
Ten.
I am one with the ancient slumbering beast.
I. Am. Lichen.
Title: Lichenthropy Cast: Lichenheart Word Count: 59
5. Window I'm staring, looking, watching. I love the view, even if I'm not there with him. I see my son, I see him happy. I see him unfazed by the hurtful words he just said to me. I care that he said them, and I are that I'll never hear the words 'I'm sorry'. But I see my son through the window, I see him happy.
That's all that matters.
Title: Looking In Cast: Fawnstep Word Count: 74
6. Imagination I'm a petal a pink one floating on the breeze. There's another a blue one that seems to follow me. We're twirling we're swirling and there's nothing much that matters anymore.
I'm here and I am wanting but I can not seem to take. He is there and he is waiting but he can not seem to make. We're dancing we're prancing and there's nothing much that matters anymore.
I'm waiting I'm staying and I watch him slip away. He's leaving he's speaking and he doesn't know that I can't hear the words. He doesn't know that in my mind we're spinning we're grinning and there's nothing much that matters anymore.
Title: In my mind Cast: Juncopaw Word Count: 130 words
7. The Tree I'll be the sun poking out of the clouds on a rainy day. I'll be the stream flowing through the forest washing all your fears away. And I'll be the tree.
I'll be the tree in the meadow, standing tall and strong. I'll be the tree lending you my strength, sheltering you from the rain. I'll be the tree that picks you up off the ground and lifts you high into the sky. I'll be the tree.
Title: I'll be your tree Cast: Rain Word Count: 84
8. Kingdom Alone in my tower, I sit. I gaze out the window and I search. My queen has gone, and my heart has gone with her. Without both my existence is empty. My kingdom is empty, though my subjects are many. My kingdom is quiet, though the rebels scream and rage. My kingdom is nothing without its queen.
Or perhaps it is I who am nothing. Come back and give me the strength to carry on. My kingdom is waiting.
Title: My kingdom Cast: Volepelt Word Count: 79
9. Options I can stand up. I can fight. I can rise against the endless beatings, gather my fellows around me, and throw off the chains of tyranny.
I can run. I can never turn back. I can flee to Willowpaw, pretend this never happened, and live my life free of all this pain.
I can stay. I can keep quiet. I can let them treat me as they do, lower my head to the ground, and hope they don't see through to my clouded soul.
They never hear me say a word. But I'm screaming in my mind.
Title: What can I do? Cast: Dovepaw (of FogClan) Word Count: 99
10. Nurturing Very carefully, I pluck them one by one. I carry them with all the tenderness of a protective parent to their new home. I am patient as I search for the seeds they hold that will bring so much joy, and I am attentive as I place them in the ground where they belong.
Not too much water.
Not too much sun.
Enough love that they never want for it.
A watchful eye and a listening ear.
What you need to nurture a flower.
Title: Gardening Cast: Crowflower Word Count: 84
11. Crest I don't look in the water when I drink. I don't look into windows for fear of what will stare back at me.
But I can still feel it.
I can feel it burning on my face, burning in my soul. My betrayal, there for all to see. A sign, a badge, a crest. Always there to remind me what I did. Always there to remind me that there is no going back.
It is a crest of cowardice, this scar. And long after others have forgotten I will remember.
Title: Crest of Cowardice Cast: Damien Word Count: 92
12. Passion They say red is the color of passion. But it's been white for me for a while. Many moons have passed since I was down in Mexico, but I can't stop thinking about that one she-cat. Sometimes I think about her even more than Kate, which is something I never thought would happen...me thinking about another cat besides Kate, I mean.
She was just so full of life though. It felt like there was nothin' she couldn't do. She was fierce, she was brave, she was fire incarnate. She was passion. She threw herself into everything she did. She made every breath, every step, count.
Title: Passion is white Cast: Elkstep Word Count: 110
13. Reflective Someone asked me today why I do the things I do. I didn't answer them because, well, who the hell are they to be askin' something like that? Couldn't even tell you their name now that I think about it.
I suppose I act like this because this is the only life I get. I'm not going to waste it in line following the rules. No, I'm going to make the most of it while I can, because you never know which day will be your last.
Title: Live to the Last Cast: Elkstep Word Count: 91
14. Pristine Alone in contemplation she sits, staring at the water as it flows ever forth. If you wait you can see her tilt her head to the stars, ask some silent question, and lower it again as if in prayer. If you wait, you can watch the sunrise with her, though she doesn't know you're there. If you forget the time, and focus only on what is before you, you might get to know her.
Speak softly. Hold her gaze. See the sunrise through her eyes.
Title: Sunrise Cast: Observing Foxpaw (of FogClan) Word Count: 87
15. Mistletoe Twolegs, I hear, think of this plant as romantic. Sonne would probably agree. So, as much as I'd like to call it a useless weed, I can't. She wouldn't like that. She'd think I was being petty and mean...which is what I am now that she's gone. But that's not doing right by her memory. Sonne would want me to be happy. She would want me to find another she-cat, raise the family we didn't get to, move on.
She would want me to see the love in the mistletoe.
All I see is a weed like me.
Title: Love in a Weed Cast: Adderfang Word Count: 107
16. Romantic If you want, We can leave. We can go anywhere that you please. We can watch the train or watch the leaves. We can get a table or a rooftop. We can walk for miles, and we can stay out for days. It doesn't matter What Where When As long as I'm there with you. As long as you're here with me. We can do anything that you please.
This time, I won't mess up.
Title: Romance the right way Cast: Elkstep Word Count: 79
17. Visionary I've got a plan. A master plan. That will take my clan to the top. There's no way it can fail, because I have the power of the stars behind me.
You can scoff.
You can whisper.
But I will not let you stop me in my quest. Our clan is destined for great things, else why would I, who am also destine for great things, be born in it? StarClan smiles on my plan. So, you don't have to. Just be ready to hold on when this rocket begins to launch.
Title: I've got a Plan Cast: Gingerpaw (a cat of Rolo's which may or may not be made) Word Count: 95
18. Shamrock We stare upon them from the sky, our children, our children’s children, the fruit of our efforts in life. Our charges in death. We watch them struggle, fall, and rise again. Fight death, accept it, cause it. Their tears are our tears, their laughter our joy.
But they do not laugh anymore.
They do not raise their heads in happiness, to stare upon our shining light with joyous acceptance.
Now they question us. Doubt. Strife. Why. All their eyes, they ask why. They want luck, liquid luck to rain down from our heavens and cure their troubles.
But all we can send is a shamrock. One shamrock amidst a thousand clovers.
Title: Pot of Troubles, Hidden Spoon Cast: StarClan, The Clans Word Count: 100
19. Celestial
My will to love is not enough to fix this.
A whisper falls from the stars. It drifts ever so slowly, to the ground below. An ear pricks and catches it. Two eyes look to the sky as if it will have the answer. The sky does not. The stars do. But they can not act only say in hopes that the living might take action where they cannot.
Title: From the Stars Cast: StarClan? Word Count: 71
20. Bravado Strut, strut, strut. Look out bad guys. Look out hot mammas. Foxpaw is comin' to town. His chest is puffed. His tail is up. Look into his eyes, see only fire. Listen to him speak, hear only bravery.
Oh, how the maidens swoon as he passes. How the kits stare in awe and the other apprentices grind their teeth in jealousy. Is there a finer cat in MeadowClan, nay, the whole forest? I think not. None can surpass Foxpaw.
Save for his own ego.
Title: Fine Cat Walkin' Cast: Foxpaw (of MeadowClan) Word Count: 84
21. Lick The lick. It woke me from my slumber and with it I was truly born. A kit: awake but blind. I was alive.
The lick. It showed me the world and opened my eyes. An apprentice: seeing but not knowing. I was living.
The lick. It filled my heart and with it I was loved. A warrior: seeing and knowing. I was complete.
The lick. It could not wake nor stir me. An elder: wise but lost. I was at the end.
Title: The Lick Cast: the life of a nameless warrior Word Count: 82
22. Believe rises I believe that the sun rises and the sun sets I believe that a flower will bloom and a flower will grow where you plant its s e e d
I believe that the stream will ebb and the stream will f l o w
But StarClan? I do not believe in StarClan.
Title: What I Believe Cast: PineClan Word Count: 48
23. Rain I was in the pit. The dark clouds blocked all light and my faith grew emaciated and weak. My mind told me the clouds should bring the relief of rain. But the mouth of my soul remained dry. I lost hope. I was gone. It was too late for me.
And then…She came. She wrenched me out of the pit of sin, out from under those selfish clouds and into a Holy Rain. The droplets stung my dehydrated body like the thorns of brambles and pierced my soul…But I felt no pain. For I was whole again.
Title: Cleansing Rain Cast: Volepelt Word Count: 97
24. Focal Point Down here, down by the water, there's a pretty little thing waitin' for me. And we'll talk, and we'll talk, but we'll never get anywhere. Just spin around in circles: we never seem to care. Hop away, jump away it always brings us back to there. Hate will break us but love will make us.
Title: Circles Cast: Elkstep Holliday, Iceheart Essie Word Count: 58 Note: idek how I got this from 'focal point' |8
25. Shadows Take it away. Take the sun away. Leave me be. Make it stop. Let me crawl into the shadows and lie there in my quiet misery. I'm not ready to see the light that casts my shade.
Title: In the Shadows Cast: Adderfang Word Count: 38
26. Flashing Loving eyes. Sweet words. Mother.
Strong paw. Strict ways. Father.
Striking claws. Lovers lost. Life.
My memories are flashing by.
Title: Memories Flashing By Cast: Elkstep Word Count: 30
27. Clouds "Look! That one's a bunny."
"I wish it were in my stomach."
"How about that one? I think it's a wolf."
"We'd die if it was."
"I see a lion!"
"I see a cat."
"Storkflower, are you even trying?"
"I'm not sure anymore, Cinderpaw."
Title: Cloud-watching Cast: Storkflower, Cinderpaw Word Count: 48 Note: ...They're looking at clouds. |8
28. Petal A petal falls from a flower: falls to the ground grows withered and weak. Browns. Crinkles. Crumbles into dust.
I feel like that petal. Too old, too soon. Waiting to crumble into dust.
Title: Petal to Dust Cast: Storkflower Word Count: 33
29. Present One step forward. Don't care about two steps back. No glancing at the clock; just keep on going til I reach the end of another day.
Someone stops looks at me says: What are you doing? I keep going call back: Living in the Present.
Title: Living in the Present Cast: Harefang Word Count: 46
30. Records Give me those old timey tunes with a scratchy edge. Upbeat or blue. Don't matter much to me so long as they got that feel, that speakeasy feel.
Give me a record player, darling. One that plays those records soft and true.
Title: Record Player Cast: Satchmo Word Count: 43
31. Family My family is spread far and wide. Some I haven't seen. Some I have. Some are lost. Some are found. We say loving things and we say hateful things. But no matter what we say or where we are we will always be as one.
We will always be a family.
Title: Family Cast: Fawnstep Word Count: 52
32. Storm I don't like to get wet. But there's not much I like more than to watch a storm. I can see it now: The calm. The break. The crash and boom. The rain washing all the troubles of the day away, while the wind screams our grief and anger so that we may remain silent and respected by our fellows.
You can see the ghosts of your past in each lightning flash. The storm reminds you, reminds me that we aren't so big. And we aren't so tough. But neither are we so small as to be passed over or brushed aside.
Our life is the storm. And our memories are the puddles it leaves behind.
Title: Watching a Storm Cast: Elkstep Word Count: 120
33. Pale Come here. Come closer. Do you see him? That's a horse lad. Not just any horse though, a pale horse. They say death rides a pale horse...but you never see him. He sees you though. And he knows your every thought.
You know why the pale horse is here?
Because he knows you've been jerking my daughter's heart every way you please. Because he knows that if I ever see you do anything to hurt her ever again, he's gonna have another soul to drag straight down to hell.
Title: A Father's Threat Cast: (future) Elkstep, some unfortunate tom seeking his daughter Word Count: 94
34. Tan Gonna lay here for a bit. Just gonna rest my eyes a spell. Just gonna lay here out in the sun, in the warm, in the light. It feels good. Really good actually. I could lay here all day, forget all my troubles. Pretend to be a twoleg maybe I hear they do the same thing. Call it 'tanning', I think.
Maybe it I lay here long enough I can tan my broken soul away. Maybe if I lay here long enough I can tan my broken soul right up to the sun, far away from all this trouble.
Title: Tanning the Soul Cast: Otterclaw Word Count: 99
35. Bonds You can't see it but it's there. You can't touch it but you can feel it. You can't sense the pressure but it holds you me us together.
What is it? A bond. Careful! It's still fragile. It just needs a little time to strengthen. Just needs a little time to grow.
Title: The Bond Cast: Foxtail Word Count: 57
36. Death We're old friends, death and I. I can see him now the pale horse over yonder You can't see him but perhaps you know he's there. I would have thought that War would take me one day or perhaps Famine for the droughts here are long and the winters harsh. Pestilence? No. For white is the horse of conquest and my white horse is here by my side. Death? With his silent weapons of plague and age I did not think that he would be the horse that came for me. But here he is. And I cannot greet him like an old friend though his eyes beckon. There is still so much which is left to be done.
Title: The Pale Horse Cast: Elkstep (when he is sick with greencough) Word Count: 122
37. The One You'll know her when you see her though you might not recognize the feeling. Stay close to her. Keep her safe. Let her never want for anything, least of all your love. Listen when she speaks Hold each word close to your heart. Speak softly to her like an old friend but look at her and think of her as so much more.
Title: Words of Advice Cast: Elkstep Word Count: 64
38. Friend Never had a friend before. I was too shy to find one, too paranoid to trust one. And now of course, I'm a sarcastic son of a badger. Somehow though, I seem to have found a cat who actually seems to like my company. What's more is he sticks around even after botched medical experiments. We trust each other...I think.
Is this friendship?
Title: Friend Cast: Storkflower Word Count: 66
39. Lust It's insatiable always looking never finding. I'm always searching for the one man who will make me complete. Can't find one? I'll take 'em all. I don't mind sharing even if they do. Because there's a beast inside me and it needs this. I'm afraid of what will happen if it doesn't get it.
Title: Insatiable Beast Cast: Bignose Word Count: 62
40. Behavior Break, break, break. Break, you heathens, break. Believe, believe believe, you must, you must, believe. Taint, taint taint. Taint our clan no more.

Snap, snap, snap. Snap, you twigs, snap. Obey, obey, obey, you must, you must, obey. Rebels, rebels, rebels. Shame our clan no more.
Die, die, die. Conform to StarClan or die. Kill, kill, kill. It is, it is her Will.
Rejoice, rejoice, rejoice. The sinners are gone, rejoice.
Title: The Condemning of the Rebels Cast: FogClan Word Count: 95
41. Duel Walk backwards. Hand on your revolver. Tense seconds tick by. Turn around, no warning. Fire, smoke, one cowboy down.
That's how you do things. You don't sit on your opponent.
--Seems to be workin' just fine for me, hoss.
Title: Showdown, cowboy style Cast: Holliday and Rain Word Count: 41

43. Impartial Hot. I send the sun to you. Take your water. Steal the moisture from your mouth.
Cool. I send the sun away. Tell the birds to leave. Warn you to be wary.
Cold. I take the sun for myself. Rob you of warmth. Pluck your babes from their beds.
Warm. I deliver you the sun. Give you hope. Allow life another chance to grow.
We do not judge. We only are.
Title: Impartial Cast: Seasons Word Count: 71
44. Bias Ask a friend. Call me biased.
Give a rank. Call me biased.
Raise my children. Call me biased.
Lay in bed. Call me dead.
Title: The accused. Cast: Cedarstar Word Count: 24
45. Water
46. Rancid Ese Núcleo Rancio…This…this Rotten Core. This root of all evil. This plague of plagues, this harbinger of misfortune for my clan. From forth her evil tongue spurn forth the greatest sins.
