I know Ten has a magical list of awesomeness, but just for easier access here's mine on suffixes.
Appearance suffixes:
-fur -pelt -stripe (for tabbies) -patch (for tortoiseshells/calicos)* -spots (for spotted tabbies/tortoiseshells/calicos)*
*Generally preferred as a prefix however (Patch-, Spotted-). Striped- can also be used a prefix though it is rare.)
Those are pretty self-explanatory, and they're used when there's no other particular trait/skill about the cat that stands out. Note: They always apply to a majority of that color on the body.
Body suffixes:
-face (for a particular marking on the face)* -nose (signifies good scenting/tracking abilities) -ear(s) (signifies good hearing)* -foot (signifies speed) -eye(s) (signifies good vision)* -tail (signifies good balance and/or hunting ability) -claw (signifies fierceness and/or skill with claws) -fang (signifies fierceness and/or skill with fangs) -leg (signifies long/short legs) -belly (signifies a particular marking on the belly) -whisker (signifies a sensitive personality and/or good tracking abilities) -throat (signifies a certain marking on the throat)
*often only used in renames, and can be used differently
Personality suffixes:
-storm (moody, passionate, angry, forceful) -flower (kind, talkative, dramatic, flirty) -heart (jovial, caring, friendly, loyal)
Other suffixes:
-step (can be used with a size or animal prefix to describe the cat's way of walking) -stream (signifies grace and/or particular accuracy and finesse in a certain skill)
Feel free to criticize or suggest additions to the list.

What about the suffix "song"? I know that in Firestar's Quest: Super Edition the Skyclan Medicine Cat's name is Echosong.

The suffix 'song'? How does a cat look like, have, or use a song? It doesn't make sense. That's why we don't use it. :3

This question occurred to me earlier today. What about the suffix -cloud, which I've always considered to mean kind, gentle in nature, "go-with-the-flow", caring, or "motherly"/nurturing?

Because Cloud- is in itself a prefix. I know, -storm is too, but the other reason is that we already have -flower for that purpose. I don't think we need another suffix that says basically the same thing. :3

Right. Makes sense! I was just wonderin'. 'cause -cloud has always been pretty common.

True, but we don't go with every suffix from the first series, like -leaf and -wind. But I'm glad you understand. XD
