Hey there, Nightfall.
I'm really sorry to hear about this =/ You've been a big part of the site for so long. I wish you well with your future endevours.
As for your suggestion that FoF is dead, well, I'd make the suggestion that it's not dead but different. The cold hard fact is that Crow isn't around anymore, neither are some of the older members, and the warriors fandom is not as large as it once was. However, all we can do is adapt, try our best to keep the site maturing and interesting. It's not possible to go backwards. This is difficult for most, even those in charge, and most people will end up moving on eventually, either due to lack of interest or just because they want to. However, there ARE people who are still here to roleplay and participate, not just because they're scared to let go. FoF is a website, a past time, a hobby, after all. Yes, we're all older, but that doesn't neccessarily mean people are not interested in FoF.
I am trying my very best to run the site. I do it for free, and it takes hours of my time to do so, because of the love I have for people here. The fundamentals of the site haven't changed, apart from the staff who enforce those rules, and so if you're suggesting that the spirit of the site is dead would be incorrect. We've got some very passionate staff members who are determined to keep the site going for those who wish to stay or join us. And we're not just running it in an attempt to regain old glories, but to push the site on and make it better than ever.
FoF will be here as long as people want or need it. It might change and have good or hard times, but it will. The staff intend to make sure that happens until the end comes, whenever that may be.
But if you're no longer feeling it, I do understand. Like I said, although I'm pretty upset and hurt, on a personal level, that you're saying these things about a site I work very hard on, people move on. You're always welcome back should you want to return, even if only to chat on the c-box or talk OOC. You'll be missed. Good luck!
