RULES FOR GENERAL DISCUSSION
1. The Golden Rule: Treat others how you want to be treated! We’re all friends here at FoF, and so no bullying will be tolerated. Period. That means no name calling, no insulting, no patronizing, no your mom jokes. Well, okay, maybe some good-natured your mom jokes. We want to keep the peace and open up some delightful discussion, and if you inhibit such discussion, you will be punished.
2. When discussing books, TV, theatre etc, make sure to include a spoiler warning if you're going to post a spoiler.
3.The boards are to remain PG. We have lots of younger members here that we have to take into consideration. So what does PG entail?
- No profanity whatsoever. Take that to the profanity boards, people
- No talk of sex, drugs or alcohol on the boards (they stain?)
If anything over PG is seen, the admins will delete your post and then PM you, explaining what in your post went over our PG rating.
4. No controversial matters, such as religion, politics etc. are allowed on these boards. These are not boards for debate, and if you wish to have such a discussion, the admins here at FoF ask you to take it outside of FoF entirely. Any boards made on these matters will be deleted.
5. If members get into conflicts over a certain discussion, the admins kindly ask them to remove it from the general discussion immediately. If fighting breaks out, staff will post with instructions to impede further conflict and members should please fulfill these instructions immediately. If the fighting continues, the thread will be locked temporarily to let the discussion cool down.
6. Respect the Admins and their decisions. We know you might not always agree with us, but if an admin tells you to stop, please do so. You can always PM an Admin if you have questions about the course of action that was taken.
