((It's short and sweet. If we've got a limited time to do this, and I have limited time to reply, I guessed that getting more posts in would be a better idea :3 Feel free to introduce whoever you want! And to name the setting if you so wish.))
Well, she'd never been here, that was for sure.
Frostpaw looked out over the wide expanse of green, which was muted by white. The wind was whipping around her with increasing force, throwing little flecks of white into her face. However, considering it was only the very beginnings of snowfall, it was more irritating than anything else. She could still see clearly, her thick white-grey pelt kept her warm despite the many snowflakes that clung to the end of her fur, and she had little fear that the snow would get any heavier. It was only leaf-fall after all, it wasn't supposed to be this cold. It would stop soon, and then she'd be left with her own thoughts.
Frostpaw had always been a forest cat. Born within the centre of one, she'd rarely come across such a wide area of nothingness, and it made her uneasy. However, she couldn't deny that the sight was beautiful. She loved it, was in awe of it. And this wasn't kittish, ignorant awe. This leafbare would be her second, and her love of ice and frost had stayed resiliant through all the troubles of last year. She liked the way that the season of snow made things more difficult, focusing cats minds and giving them less time to wonder about trivialities like romance and religion. Snow returned cats to their roots, back to the fight for survival so many forgot in their rush to try and make life more than what it was.
So she settled down and "wanted" (praying would be pointless, considering the absense of deities) the snow to get heavier. It was a good distraction from the poor treatment she was getting in Fogclan. At least for now, she could forget about the politics and the trials, the unhealed wounds on her physical body that was now numbed by the chill, and be herself for once.

.ospreyPAW".in the middle of night." "Wow, it's snowing! Look, look!" Ospreypaw cried in delight. "It's coming down so much...Can I go out in it?" Despite being an apprentice, he was without a mentor, so the young cat spent most of his time with his mother. 'I'm sorry, Ospreypaw, but you'd catch a cold in this--W-Wait a second!' Although his mother hadn't given a response, Ospreypaw had already dashed off into the Wonderland, despite his obediant nature. To be surrounded by blankets of snow was something that Ospreypaw had always wanted. He'd never seen snow before; all he'd heard were tales. If one of the kittens hadn't shouted out, Ospreypaw knew he wouldn't believe that snow could be so magnificent.
Still...once outside, the snow continued being a pest - it was almost like a pure white fog. Without meaning to, Ospreypaw had stumbled out of the MeadowClan camp. In fact, the apprentice hadn't realised that he had, at all. All he knew was that he was scampering through paradise! Ospreypaw was really like a little child inside; having no permanent mentor cut down the training sessions and even then, the apprentice had still treated it all like a child's game. Such attitude was not befitting of an apprentice, but Ospreypaw had no one to correct him. His mother wasn't any help - she wanted him to stay so innocent for as long as possible - and the other clan cats didn't know how to correct them. Having been so kind to them all for so long...no one wanted to ruin his harmless fun.
"Huh?"
Along his daydreaming walk, Ospreypaw had felt a strange piece of snow under his paws. It felt so...furry. Curious, the tom stepped on the furry snow again and again and again, laughing away to himself. It felt so strange! 'I never knew that snow could feel like us!' You shouldn't blame him, you know. It's not as if he knew there was a cat under that small paw of his.
