Siblings | Creek [NDC]
Other Kin | None

Apprentice/Mentor | Not yet
Appearance |
The first thing anyone notices about this she-cat is that she's small and fluffy. Cherrypaw has hardly grown any more from when she was a kit, something she is quite chagrined about. Because of this, she has worked double time to make sure that she could keep up. This led to strong muscles at her young age. She is built more for speed and agility that pure brute strength though, with longer hind legs that make her jump far.
Cherrypaw has longer fur than most Clan cats, and is very fluffy. While this means grooming her fur can be a pain, it does mean that she rarely ever gets cold. She keeps it immaculate, always taking the time to clean it. Cherrypaw's fur is a dark ginger colour with lighter topcoat. Her paws are a dark brown, almost black, and she has specks of it on her muzzle and tail. She has light green eyes with golden flecks in them. As for scars, the only one worth noting is the one over her left eye, faint and old.
Personality |
Cherrypaw doesn't seem to know the meaning of seriousness. When things get dark and heavy she is more likely to crack a joke than be somber. It isn't that Cherrypaw doesn't get depressed or anything like that, because that isn't the case. But she's the type who looks at the glass half-full, and does her best to cheer everyone else up. If Cherrypaw is the somber, then you know that something has to be up. Cherrypaw's the joker of the Clan, and even though she's an apprentice, she still does practical jokes. Much to the chagrin of her Clanmates.
Cherrypaw is an incredibly warm and cheerful cat. She loves to socialize with other cats, and rarely ever says anything harsh. She's more likely to try and make friends with everyone than be mean. Though she's extremely loyal to her Clan, she doesn't believe in holding grudges against other cats because of what Clan they're in. Cherrypaw's open-minded and bright, though she knows when to place her friendships aside. Because her Clan means everything to her.
Cherrypaw is a very caring sort of cat. She can be a bit overprotective of her friends, and is extremely loyal to them. She is the type of cat who believes in second chances, though if you break her trust, it takes a long time to earn it back. She likes to believe that everyone has a good side, though it doesn't mean she is naïve or anything like that. Because she isn't. Cherrypaw just wants to believe that everyone isn't evil. When around her friends, she's witty and sarcastic, prone to saying ridiculous things with a deadpanned face.
When it comes to her Clan, she can be sort of conflicted. She truly loves her Clan, thought she doesn't always agree with their methods, since she dislikes outright hurting them, but she won't outright disobey. She's loud and opinionated, though; she won't back down from letting everyone know how she feels. She's very frank about it as well. Cherrypaw can be haughty at times, and knows she's clever and smart. She can be arrogant, and is very sure in her abilities. This can make her a bit insufferable at times, since she is very firm in her beliefs.
Maybe the red haired thing carries over to red fur, but Cherrypaw is one hot-headed little cat. She isn't mean or anything like that, but she can easily lose her temper at the slightest things. She usually makes a fool of herself in doing so, and always regrets it. Lucky for everyone, she doesn't hold grudges, so give her a bit, and she'll forgive you, right as rain. Cherrypaw is also a very stubborn little cat, and it will take a mountain to change her mind on anything.
Skills | Cherrypaw's skills lie in her ability of speed. Because she is on the smaller side, she has had to compensate some way. The apprentice isn't very good with the whole fighting thing, but hunting and speed are her talents.
History |
Cherrypaw's not a Clan cat, at least, not a born one. She's not a loner, either. No, this she-cat is a rogue. But she doesn't know this, as she suffers from a severe case of amnesia. The only the she remembers is her name, and that she isn't from any of the Clans.
Cherrypaw was born one beautiful spring day, along with her brother Creek. Her mother was a kittypet, her father being a rogue. Her mother left her Twolegs to be with her father, growing up in barns. She and her twin brother Creek were extremely close, and couldn't wait to grow up. As a kit, Cherry loved to hear stories of the Clans of old, the ones that came many moons ago. She and her brother pretended to be Clan cats, attaching "paw" to the end of their names. Cherry often longed to go see the Clans for herself, though she was forbidden to do so by both her parents. It depressed her, and her parents couldn't understand that. Why should she want to leave her home? Creek was also puzzled. While he also enjoyed pretending to be a Clan cat, he didn't feel like the same pull his twin did towards the Clans.
Cherry was disappointed, but, staying true to her nature, she got over it. After all, she had friends here. Her closest friend was a neighbouring cat named Fish. Everyone knew that Cherry had a huge crush on her friend, and approved of the match. Fish returned her affections, and it was commonly known that the two would be mates when they were older. At this time, they simply spent a lot of time together. Fish tolerated her Clan infatuation with good humour, actually playing it with her as well.
One day they were out by a drop off near the edge of her mother’s Twoleg’s territory, Fish teaching her how to hunt. Cherry wasn't paying attention to her surroundings, and never even saw the hawk coming up behind her. Fish did, however, and leaped at the huge bird, knocking it just enough aside to point that it only clipped Cherry's face. The cats wrestled and Cherry watched as the two rolled down the side of the cliff. She ran after them, but hit her head on a rock when she got to the bottom.
When she woke up, Cherry had a huge head ache and was panic stricken. She didn't know where she was, or even who she was. All she knew was the words "cherry" and "paw" were floating about in her head. The little cat put the things together and called herself that. She felt a tearing loss at the sight of the dead cat at her feet, but didn't recognize him. She left the area immediately, walking for miles and days. She ended up in PineClan territory, where she simply sat in the middle of the camp and waited for acceptance or death.
