Beliefs | Mottletail was introduced to Starclan when he first joined Streamclan. He was unsure of what to think of them and spent a lot of time weighing out his opinion on them. He settled on something that his heart told him, they were there, but they couldn't tell the future. Sure they were there, but they could not do anything else.

Appearance | Mottletail is a smaller tom, smaller than most of his age. His coat is pure white, with a few exceptions. His tail is coloured with different shades of orange, from light to burnt. A few patches of white fur speckle his tail. The only other part of him that is not white is his ears, the same mix of burnt and light orange. They orange runs from his ears to his forehead, a gap of white separating the two patches of orange. His whiskers are shorter than most cats, making him less sensitive to his surroundings. Mottletail's eyes are a beautiful mixture of green and yellow, almost hazel in colour.

Personality | This tom is very sensitive, more than a male should be. If someone makes fun of him, he takes it very personally and will be rather hurt. Any critique he gets he takes to heart, which made him a hard apprentice to train. Most cats think that this is because of his kittypet past. He is a sweet cat though, and is a very hard tom to anger. He loves helping out cats with their issues and a lot of time he has cats coming to him with their problems. He is a patient cat, hard to irritate. Mottletail is a very level headed cat. His mother taught him to be the kind cat he is. She raised him right, passing on her tender spirit. She taught him how to treat she-cats right, to listen to their problems and help them work them out. The tom took these lessons to heart, and learned how to use this towards not only females, but to other toms too.

Skills | Because of his small size, Mottletail is a very agile cat. He is a quick runner and a skilled swimmer. He is very good at hunting underwater, but as soon as he tries hunting on land, he sucks the big one. He cannot hunt for mice to save his life. When it comes to hunting, his smaller size makes him weaker on the attack, but because he is agile he is quick on the defense.

History | Mottletail was born as a cat named Mocha, a soft kittypet. Him and his brother were raised in a family home, but he didn't feel at home like his brother did. He was always looking out the window, wanting to go and run and play and swim. He was not made for the kittypet life. When he turned 6 moons, his twolegs brought a collar and tried to put it on him. Mocha fought back, scratching his twolegs and earning him a boot out the back door. His mother came out and gave him a strict talking to, but Mocha wasn't listening. He was done with this life. Once his mother left he jumped the fence and ran, never looking back.

Mocha stumbled into Streamclan camp, where a patrol found him standing in their territory. The leader was with them, and stopped the cats before they attacked him. He was just a young cat, and did not smell of any other clan. He knew very little about the clans, only what his mother told him. He wanted in though, he wanted to be away from the kittypet life. So Mocha was accepted, but put on probation to see if he could survive the clan life. After a few moons, he was finally names Mottlepaw, and given a mentor. Because he took things so personally, when he failed and got yelled at he became very quite and distant. It took longer to gain his warrior name, but when he did he was so excited.

When Mottletail became a warrior, he met Speckledfur. He immediately felt sweet towards her and followed her around, trying to get her to like him too. But he was a small male who couldn't hunt, and knew his chances were not high. He is still trying, talking to her whenever he can.
