Well. That was that, then. Crowpaw was Crowpaw no longer. From this moment on, until the day that he died, he would be known as Crow flower. He was a full medicine cat of PineClan. This was the culmination of his sorry excuse for training, and, to be honest, he was jointly relieved and terrified to finally be on his own. It was going to be a big responsibility, especially since he was now in charge of the medical care of his entire clan. At least as an apprentice he'd had somebody to fall back on if he didn't know what to do. Speaking of knowing what to do... what should he no now? Nobody needed anything from him. As far as he could tell, nobody had been knuckle-headed and injured themselves yet today, nobody had eaten bad prey or evil berries, nobody was complaining of a headache, he'd already seen to the Elders, and his herb stores, for once in his entire career, were completely filled and organized perfectly. Not a single dried leaf had drifted away from its pile. So what in the world was he going to do without a job? He found himself wishing for Finchpaw. If his friend was there, they would be able to come up with something to keep themselves entertained. Adventures were no fun if they were just you. The others involved were most of the fun! Speaking of Finchpaw, he was worried about him. There was no telling what FogClan had gotten up to since the last time they had spoken. What if he was hurt? What if something awful had happened? It had been a couple moons since he'd heard from him. What was going on? He would find out in a few days at the Medicine Cat Meeting. In any case, he needed something to do right now. Sitting all by himself in his den was driving him mad. So he picked himself up, flounced happily out of the dimness and into the sunshine, warm and good. Yes, this was so much nicer than his den. Hopefully, somebody would come over and provide him some companionship. speaking [bg=5f8219][atrb=width,469,true] [atrb=border,0,true] |

Juncopaw was soooooo happy. It was ridiculous how happy she was. Just. Awesome. Crowpaw was medicine cat! It was amaziiiiiing! And oh he was so handsooooome....
She practically shot over him, knocking him over with the force of her tackleglomp. "Hey! Hey you!" She purred, licking his ear. "Great job!" She was quite happy to be lying on him....though he might not be. She rolled off him and looked away for a moment, embarrassed, licking her silver chest. But joy quickly overcame any awkward feelings she might have.
"It feels like I haven't seen you in MOONS!" She complained, smelling his delightful scent of wildflowers and tangy herbs, coughing slightly at the dust she kicked up. Part of her was cowering, embarrassed, but it was small and easily ignored.
She had seen him, but they'd never had time for more than short, polite conversations that made her ache for more. "Hey, if you're not busy, can we go for a walk?" She asked, grinning, but then her grin slipped a little. "I mean...if you don't want to...but I thought it'd be fun."

Ahhhh, Juncopaw. Crowflower found himself always welcoming her bright attitude and cheerful smiles. Their eyes met for a brief moment from across the camp, he smiled, she smiled back, and then she decided it would be a good idea to sprint across camp and tackle him. It didn't accomplish much, as he was already lying down, but her enthusiasm was nice. He hoped that if he ever had an apprentice, they would be as lively and energetic as she was. "Hey you yourself," he purred, giving her ear an affectionate cuff. It was nice to see her again. It was almost like old times, although, admittedly, she had never tried to tackle him before. That was new. And odd. And new. He wasn't quite sure what to make of that. Ahh, she was probably just excited to finally have the opportunity to talk to him again. It had been over a half moon since they had last spoken to one another, and even that had been fleeting. That was probably part of the reason that he really didn't have any friends in his own clan. Nobody ever talked to him. Nobody ever seemed to have the time or the energy to deal with him, which was normal for a cat in his position, he supposed. Medicine cats were generally left alone unless they were needed for some reason. He didn't understand why. He didn't belong to some weird, mystical cult, he wouldn't try and poison anybody who talked to him for reasons other than medical need, and it wasn't like he was unfriendly. So why did nobody make an effort to be his friend? Ah well, he couldn't be bothered with that right now. Juncopaw was here, and she had time, and she wanted to go for a walk. Well, why not? He had nothing else to do. Maybe they could go looking for flowers! Yeah, flowers or dead leaves. Juncopaw liked piles of leaves for some reason. He couldn't imagine why. They were useful for covering wound dressing, sometimes, but that was it. Otherwise, piles of leaves were nothing more than hiding places for slugs and spiders. He didn't like spiders. They were creepy. Sure, they made cobwebs, but that was their only good point. They had too many eyes, they had evil fangs that never went inside their mouths, because they didn't have mouths, and they had twice as many legs as any normal living creature did. Spiders... they just weren't natural. "Do I look busy?" He grinned, knowing that she knew the answer. A stretch and a bounce later, and he was ready to go on an epic walk! "Let's go have an adventure!" [bg=5f8219][atrb=width,469,true] [atrb=border,0,true] |

You could have given Juncopaw wings and she would have soared right off the ground. She couldn't believe it! The talented Clan medicine cat - her handsome dream crush - was going to go on a walk. With HER. She could have squealed in delight.
But the silver tabby controlled herself - with a little difficulty - and remained composed, nodding vigorously at her companion's mention of an adventure. As they began to walk toward the camp entrance, she couldn't help skipping a little and breathing deeply, the air was full of interesting smells. Some were pleasant - moss, flowers, trees, Crowflower. Some were not so pleasant - smelly toms, the dirtplace, and slightly old prey on the fresh-kill pile.
But what was most important was the sunny forest and the black tom beside her. The PineClan apprentice grinned at her friend, blue eyes wide, and thought about what they should do.
"Hmmm...what sort of adventure do you want to have? Shall we climb a tree? Take our chances with the river? Search the very outskirts of our territory? Make our way through the dangerous undergrowth to find herbs no cat has found before?"
She smiled mischievously, not really having a preference. Though it would be fun if they found a leaf pile or two...
