Hey dorks.
It's been a while, hasn't it? Bittersweet, I'd say, to come back here and wander through old threads, and laugh at years-old jokes. Gets me a little bit teary, sometimes.
It's been about eight years since Forest of Fate threw open its metaphorical doors, and about four years since it well, closed those metaphorical doors. The three and a half years in between were a pretty crazy ride, filled to the brim with ban vans, spawns of Satan, forum moves, cbox turnings, and a whole hell of a lot of drama, but I've gotta say, I wouldn't have let go for anything in the world.
I've done a lot of growing up, since then. I'm still shit at making friends, but the ones I have I cherish dearly. I'm turning twenty-one in a little bit, and I'm attending university full-time. History major. Dunno what I'm gonna do with it. I still dabble with theatre, too. And I'm trying to get a writing career of the ground. One day, you'll all read my novels, I swear.
I was hoping I could hear back from some of you. What's going on with your lives? What are you up to? In school, working jobs, or have you somehow won the lottery and are just sipping drinks on the beach?
I want to know what you've all been up to. How you've changed, how you've stayed the same. A little reunion, of sorts.
