Whiskers has been an incredible member of staff over the years. Her advice and guidance has been invaluable to the admins, as well as members. However, now Whiskers has found that the time has come to let go of her admin position at FoF. It was a hard decision, Whiskers has been such an integral part of the site for over a year, but we all agreed that it was for the best. The staff at FoF very much respect her decision, and although we're desperately sad to see her leave the staff team, wish her well with her future plans
However, we're reassured that she will remain on the site as a normal member, so there's no need to cry yet. We'll still look forward to seeing her in character contributions.
Now, on to Whisker's original post on the matter:

~My resignation...~
...as admin.
I am by no means leaving the site. Let me just say that before I get into everything else. I. Am. Not. Leaving.
You're all some of my best friends. You're...you're my family, really. I've had the best time being an admin and helping out with characters and decisions. But as this year went on and I got more responsibilities, I knew that I couldn't hold on to my position as admin. I held on anyway because I was selfish and I love love love love the job.
But enough is enough. As much as I love you guys, fact is, I'm too busy to be admin and I talked with Rolo and she understands. I recently got picked to help assistant direct and manage a play! A director CALLED ME UP to do it! Isn't that awesome?! It really is. And believe me, I couldn't say no. That happened around last week-ish (the week before?) and I've been going to rehearsals every single day since, along with production meetings. Being behind the scenes of a play is a whole new experience for me and this is an ambitious one, so unfortunately, there's really not a way I can pursue one of my passions while also running the site.
The play premieres in the beginning of August and I leave for vacation right after. Then they'll be school for me. So my summer is packed.
But I ain't leaving.
This is just me stepping down and becoming a regular member like all of you. Well, sorta. I'm still open to helping with characters, you can still email me questions. I'm like a Pineclan Elder, really. Retired, but still involved.
And I'm going to rp as much as I can. I can't say that I'll be around too much, so some of you might just have to be patient with me. I'll always try to get on enough though, even if it is at 2 in the morning after typing up my rehearsal notes.
So, as I close my resignation, I have to thank you guys. You are the reason I was admin in the first place really, ad you were the reason I became so passionate and dedicated to the site. You are all brilliant. Helping you, watching you grow-- it's been the best thing in the world for me. So thank you thank you thank you for making it an experience I will never forget.
