CANONS LIST

CANON: can - on. noun.
"the works of an author that have been accepted as authentic."

Here at Forest of Fate, our "canon" would be cats that have already been created, or cats mentioned in the story line. Brownstar, the leader of ForestClan, for example, would be a canon character. These characters are often vital to the story line and them having players? Well, that's fantastic. Canon characters are also immune from any bans/taken names for clans. That means if there's a Whitefur in StreamClan and you want to play a canon Whitepaw, you can.

Listed in the post below will be the male and female canons for the clans. They'll have a description, picture, and basic personality worked out, as well as some other things. You do need to follow those as well as you can when making these cats. But the guidelines aren't strict - don't worry!

When applying for a canon, just post here that you're going to play one. After you've finished the application and the canon has been accepted, your post here will be deleted, as will the canon's place in the post. Multiple people will apply for the same canon, but once the first person makes the application for the cat, others will only have one week to get their bio up (it doesn't have to be finished), so we know if we need to wait for anyone.

CLOUDPAW

pineclan | 13 moons | non-believer
cloudpaw was the first cat to really back-up gingerstar when pineclan was forming itself. his young enthusiasm caused many others to join as well. he's a confident furball with a knack for hunting and trickery, but deathly loyal to pineclan and everything they stand for.

ELKFUR
-------------------

fogclan | 62 moons | avid believer
elkfur joined the clans as an elder straight from forestclan. he picked fogclan as he trusted owlstar's belief more than he did cedarstar's leadership, and is constantly telling starclan stories to all those who'll listen. patient and kind, elkfur is almost your typical aged elder - if he wasn't so scared of squirrels.

OWLHEART

owlheart has definitely made a name for himself in the clans. before the territories were formed, he joined with other cats to chase out any badger or fox or other cats that populated the territory destined for the clans. rogue by birth, this tom has a rough side to him, but wouldn't betray streamclan at all. he has no care for fogclan's beliefs, but can't quite say pineclan is the place for him, so owlheart settled for the safe medium of streamclan.

RUSSETPELT

when cedarstar left forestclan to forge a path for those cats who followed him, russetpelt was right there next to his friend. the two had been close companions since apprenticehood, and russetpelt was a key part of the resistance against brownstar and the settling of the new clans. he's a spit-fire of a tom - good natured with plenty of humor, and never ever turns down a challenge. sometimes he can be unpleasant and only can stand being around cedarstar and littlewhisker - other times he can't get enough of his clan mates. mates with littlewhisker.

FEMALE CANONS

DAPPLEDPAW

fogclan | 10 moons | avid believer
dappledpaw came in fairly recently. she was immediately apprenticed to one of mistpelt's more loyal warriors, and taken as almost a sign from starclan that mistpelt was going the right way with fogclan. dappledpaw's loyal attitude to starclan, fogclan, and the warrior code could be seen as a blessing of sorts. she's a very soft spoken cat, and hardly enjoys spending time with other apprentices. mostly she'll hang around her mentor or mistpelt, and if those cats are busy, she'll latch on to another believer.

MAPLEFLOWER

following cloudpaw, mapleflower was one of the first to ally with gingerstar. in fact, she took care of cloudpaw when he was still too young to be an official apprentice. this she-cat's not good at much in the way of the warrior, though she tries her hardest at hunting. however, her quick mind makes her an ideal strategist and her kind heart allows her to be the 'clan's queen' - mapleflower sees everyone as her kits, even if she is still rather young.

THRUSHFANG

if there ever were a more typical grumpy elder, well, thrushfang would have to wail on them until they cried. born a rogue, thrushfang entered streamclan as a rowdy warrior she-cat, only to have to retire shortly due to a back leg injury. she can only hobble on her leg sometimes. despite herself, the she-cat still tries to do warrior duties, claiming she's still young and fit. often you'll catch her out in the hunting grounds, picking off weak prey. and hey - she doesn't do too badly for a crippled elder.

LITTLEWHISKER

littlewhisker was born and raised with cedarstar and russetpelt. she stuck strong to them when they decided to split from forestclan and to this day remains loyal to the toms, she's even mated with russetpelt, though they have no kits. yet. littlewhisker is a very regal, lady-like she-cat who keeps things ordered and hates messes. she's quite like a lady from the old times come down in cat form. starclan to her is a bit of a touchy subject. she does believe in them, but it's only out of habit. sometimes she feels the starry ancestors are just stories.

Oooh. I might try my hand at Cloudpaw, if that'd be alright. I like to have at least one cat in each Clan, if not two in some and I can easily handle them.

I do have a question, though. Would he be thirteen moons in current time within the role-play, or at what point was he that age?

That's really my only question for the moment.
